Well, I'm exhausted....after 7 posts......and when I was thinking what "English" songs I could share with you...I just had no idea. I was nervous because I need to my 8 posts by today.the previous posts I always shared with you the songs from foreign countries. But, this time, I'm going to introduce a nice song performed by a Taiwanese American girl to you!
The song is "Lost in Paradise" by Joanna Wang 王若琳, who is the daughter of a famous album producer in Taiwan.
The reason why I share this song is that I heard the Chinese version of "Lost in Paradise" in Wayward Kenting, 我在墾丁，天氣晴。 Wayward Kenting is a very famous soap opera produced in 2007 in Taiwan.
Several years ago, I went to Kenting and had a great time there. So, this song always reminds me of my good time there!
Dwayne Michael Carter. Jr. better known as Lil Wayne, was born on 27 Sept., 1982 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is now a very well known American rapper. I used to listen to Lil Wayne's songs very often, but I found that most of his songs are talking about gang and girl. I don't like these. I prefer rap songs with sincere emotions....well, I mean I want rap songs that are not just dealing with drinking alcohol, being a thug, and having X. And I'm delighted to share "How to Love" with you guys. I think "How to Love" is the most meaningful songs among Lil Wayne's! haha
Another reason why I love this song is that "some" of the sentences remind me of one of my friends.
Many boy want to know her, but she can't have a man look at her for five seconds.
I once asked why, but she just said that she doesn't like them.
She is very pretty.
But, year after year, she is still alone.

"Be with you " was originally by Akon. When I first heard this on Youtube, I thought this song didn't attract me because the bridges in this song doesn't perfectly connect to the upcoming part, which means I felt disconnected. This makes me wonder what's wrong with this song? Be more precise, I think "Be with You" is like broken pieces. Nevertheless, Wilber Pan brought this song to life. He made this song more connected to every part. ( Wilber Pan, or Will Pan 潘瑋柏, is a Taiwanese signer, actor, rapper.)
"Be with You" is about a boy and a girl. Although they love each other, many people want to separate them.
They have to fight against them so that they could be together. I love Will's rap, which really bring this song to life! Also, he combined Chinese with English when rapping. Amazing!!!!!

"Desperado" by Eagles was a song shared by Teresa in comporal class. To be honest, I'm not that into old songs, but this song really attracted me. The tone is so soothing and relaxing that I always fall asleep when listening to Desperado. Since then, I started to pay special attention to old songs. Recently, I also listen to Hotel California. Hotel California has the same style as Desperado. Hotel California is more powerful somehow, but I still like the relaxing feeling Desperado gives me. Also, the word usage is sooooo poetic and beautiful whereas hiphop and pop songs, sometimes they just don't make any sense. So, I enjoy old songs not only because of the beautiful melody but nice poetic word usage. People now like pop or hiphop songs, but sometimes we probably should listen to old songs like Desperado. :)

Well, Love the Way You Lie is also one of my favorite because this song is mixed with hiphop and R&B hook.
I love Eminem very much because his songs are different from other rappers. For example, many of the rappers usually write songs about drinking alcohol ,having fun, and even about having sex. Eminem's songs are very different from theirs. As you can see below!

Aziatix is a Korean boy's group: Eddie, Flowsik, and Nicky
People may ask why I prefer Aziatix's song. Well, the reason is that their songs are just my type because they mix in their song with R&B and hiphop. Another reason is that Nicky is one of my favorite singers! You guy must know him! He is 李玖哲, who once came to Taiwan. He even won the 18th Golden Melody Award in Taiwan.
