Peter Gene Hernandez, well known as Bruno Mars, is a American singer and song writer. He was born in Hawaii on October 8, 1985. Mars usually writes songs of R&B and soft-rock, and the most interesting thing is the origin of his name "Bruno Mars." Bruno was Hernandez's nickname by his father based on a wrestler, named Bruno Sammartino, and the reason why he uses Mars as his last name is that he felt like he didn't have any pizzazz(魅力, 活力) and lots of girls said he is out of the world. So, he thinks he's from Mars.
People usually hope they have somebody to rely on when facing difficulties. So, I want to be the one to back my friends up when they're in trouble or in a bad mood. Like the lyrics above: If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea, I'll sail the world to find you. If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see, I'll be the light to guide you. Haha, I'm trying to memorize this song so that I can sing it to them when they need me!
Some people ask me why I posted this song as my first post on Blogger. I think the reason is not only because the lyrics touches me but Mars got a very special and amazing voice.
